DESCRIPTION:

Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) is the leading cause of Visual Impairment in all first-world nations. However, many children with CVI remain undiagnosed and untreated. This session will provide information about diagnostic criteria, the unique visual and behavioral traits associated with CVI, and methods to facilitate functional vision in individuals with CVI.
