Gerasimos Milathianakis is a speech therapist with 12 years of experience, specializing in feeding and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Throughout his career, he has worked with children with various conditions, including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, dysphagia, and degenerative diseases.
Gerasimos is a member of the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Approaches for the Improvement of the Quality of Life (QoLab) of the Hellenic Mediterranean University, Greece. He is also an external collaborator Speech Therapist at the ENT Clinic of the University General Hospital of Heraklion, where he examines and monitors patients with swallowing disorders.
Gerasimos earned his Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Therapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Patras. He also holds a his Master of Public Health from the University of Crete, where he is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Swallowing Disorders. His research focuses on feeding and swallowing disorders, and he regularly participates in related conferences and events.
He is fluent in English and Greek and he can offer therapeutic support in both languages.
