Nalini has worked with mild to complex special needs children of all ages for the past 17 years. She started her career at a government hospital in South Africa, working with children and adults and gradually gained experience in treating a range of conditions like cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, learning and genetic disorders etc. She has extensive pediatric experience and is fluent in all standardised occupational therapy assessments.
Nalini Maistry graduated with an Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2001, at the University of Durban-Westville (UKZN), South Africa. She also completed her Sensory Integration training through SAISI (South African Institute for Sensory Integration) & CLASI (Collaborative For Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration).
Before joining High Hopes, she was heading the Speech and Occupational Therapy Department at the Wilson Centre for Child Development at Dubai.
