Biography – Since graduating in Speech and Language Therapy with First Class Honours, Emanuela began working with a mixed caseload of adults and children in Southern Italy for over one year. Most of her patients had neurological impairments that compromised aspects of their language, speech, eating and drinking. Next, she moved to London (UK) where she further developed her knowledge and skills, primarily addressing Speech Sound Disorders of Children with Complex Motor Disorders and/or Sensory Issues (e.g.: Genetic Syndromes, Cerebral Palsy, Autism). Emanuela can provide services in English and Italian, if parents or Schools require it. She has always been pro-active in spreading awareness about the advantages of bilingualism, promoting prevention of eating and drinking issues in young children and carrying out on-demand trainings in some of the best Schools in London and Dubai. She completed her Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care: Speech, Language and Communication Needs at City, University of London.
Emanuela is consistently up to date with the latest developments in Language Delay, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Dysarthria and Severe Phonological Disorder, in addition to mastering the following programs:

Skilled assessment, intervention and interdisciplinary care allows the learners in Emanuela’s caseload to achieve functional goals, making crossover and generalization of skills possible. She enjoys being part of big Teams Around the Child and ensuring that therapy is Family Centered and effective at all times. Emanuela is currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the United Kingdom and Licenced by the Dubai Health Authority since 2017. Before joining High Hopes, she worked at Pure Child Health Dubai, where she led a small team of therapists, including an Occupational Therapist, a Pediatric Physiotherapist and a Behavioral Therapist.
