Biography

Hadeel Alkurdi is a Senior Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 9 years of experience dedicated to empowering individuals of diverse abilities. She embraces neurodiversity and advocates for inclusion, believing in adapting environments and approaches to meet each child’s unique needs. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Jordan and is a certified Sensory Integration Therapist (CLASI – USA) and SOS-trained Feeding Therapist (Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding). Additionally , she has completed specialized training in: DIR-Floortime ( child-centered play-based approach), CVI (Cortical Visual Impairment) , Hippotherapy (treatment using the movement of a horse), Handwriting Without Tears, Makaton Sign Language, Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), ABA principles, Vestibular-Visual Therapy Approaches, and Sensorimotor Hands on Workshops. 

Passionate about enabling children and families through early intervention, continuous learning, and evidence-based practices. Her approach focuses on creating safe, affirming environments where every child can thrive. 

She collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams, believing that holistic, team-based care is essential in helping children reach their full potential. Hadeel has extensive experience working with babies to school-aged children across clinics, special needs schools, and mainstream educational settings, offering both individual and group therapy. 

Her experience includes working with children across a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to:  Neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism, ADHD), Genetic and chromosomal disorders (e.g., Down Syndrome), Neurological and motor impairments (e.g., Cerebral Palsy), Developmental delays (e.g., global developmental delay, delayed milestones), Functional and learning challenges (e.g., fine motor difficulties, handwriting challenges).
