Intensive Interaction An ‘introductory’ workshop for parents and families

  • November 27th, 2019
  • 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Super Special Mums

DESCRIPTION:

This workshop will set out a general over-view of the rationale and strategies of this social communication approach. Intensive Interaction is a social communication approach that is most often used with people who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties and/ or autism. Intensive Interaction is both highly social and mainly responsive in nature, rather than being directive, or goal or target-oriented. The approach focuses on using the “Fundamentals of Communication” as a means of establishing and developing improved social communication exchanges.
