Biography

Chirine Schlink is a certified Speech and Language Therapist with extensive expertise in early intervention, feeding therapy, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). With over 10 years of experience, Chirine has built a reputation for excellence in supporting children with diverse needs. She currently serves as the Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor at High Hopes in Dubai, UAE.

Chirine’s feeding therapy focuses on guiding parents through the transition to solids, addressing sensory, motor, and behavioural challenges to promote healthy eating habits and positive mealtime experiences. Her AAC practice incorporates the latest tools and strategies to empower individuals with communication challenges, helping them express themselves, participate in daily life, and achieve greater independence.

In addition to her expertise in feeding and AAC, Chirine integrates play-based and sensory-based approaches to promote speech and language development. She is committed to creating engaging, child-centred therapy sessions that build essential communication skills while fostering confidence and joy.

As a dedicated supervisor, Chirine supports her multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and ensuring cohesive care for every child. Her family-centred, holistic approach prioritises the well-being, inclusion, and independence of the children and families she serves.

Beyond her clinical work, Chirine is actively involved in research, community training, and outreach initiatives to share her expertise and advocate for inclusive practices. She has delivered workshops for families, caregivers, and professionals, equipping them with practical strategies to support individuals with communication and feeding challenges.
