Biography

Hanouf Hassan is a highly experienced Senior Speech Language Therapist with a strong background in Pediatric Speech Therapy.
She earned her Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Pathology from the Jordan University of Science and Technology. With over 12 years of practice in the UAE, Hanouf has worked across a range of pediatric healthcare settings, including hospitals, private clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Her primary expertise lies in assisting children with communication, language, apraxia and feeding disorders.

She has completed numerous advanced continuing education courses, focusing on premature and term infants, and children with feeding and swallowing concerns. She is notable for being the first in the region to be certified in feeding assessment and therapy programs such as Feed the Peds and the McNiell Feeding Therapy Program.

Hanouf’s clinical experiences are extensive, encompassing individuals from infancy to adulthood with various disorders, including articulation disorders, apraxia of speech, language disorders, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorders, hearing impairments, cerebral palsy, pragmatic disorders, central auditory processing disorder, attention deficit disorder/attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Down syndrome, pediatric dysphagia and much more.
She is well-versed in early intervention techniques and the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) technology.
