Chirine is a certified and licensed Speech and Language Therapist. Specialized in Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Implementation. Experienced in Feeding Therapies and specific Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) therapies like EDT and PECS.
Chirine graduated from Saint Joseph University of Beirut with a Speech and Language Therapy degree. During her postgraduate experience, Chirine had multiple opportunities to work with children and adults with disabilities, particularly with Cerebral Palsy (CP), Rare Genetic Disorders and ASDs. Her main work goal is to provide children with the proper Assistive Technology device to help them develop the skills required to integrate into the educational system.
In addition, Chirine has pursued multiple trainings in the AAC field and is familiar with the high-technology solutions offered by international companies. She has also received trainings on such ASD therapies as EDT and PECS and boasts a robust experience in the treatment of feeding disorders, having attended numerous workshops in this field. She is an active member of the Lebanese Speech and Language Therapist Association and has supported research to develop bilingual assessment and rehabilitation tools.
Chirine is fluent in English, Arabic and French and she can offer therapeutic support in all three languages.
